Further Feducation Conference
Due to popular demand, this summer we will be opening our doors to 16-18 year old students in 6th forms and further education colleges to provide advice and support for those looking to start or are already running atheist, humanist or secular groups and societies.
We would like to invite you to join us for part of our annual conference to see how the AHS can start supporting further education groups. Come and meet other godless students from all over the UK and be part of history!

What will happen at the conference?
You'll get a chance to meet and brainstorm with atheist students from around the country, including our numerous university groups. This is the same format that started the AHS a year ago, but this time the focus is on how we can help student-run groups for under 18s.
What would you like to see a group do in your school/college? Run debates on creationism? Show educational, controversial and funny films? Hold interfaith events? Fight homophobia? Teach students about those religions that RE lessons won't touch like Scientology? Worship the Flying Spaghetti Monster?
When the AHS first started last summer there were only a handful of groups in the UK - now, thanks to a lot of ambition and teamwork there are nearly 30(!) and we've built a lot of lasting friendships on the way. How many FE groups will we have in a year?
The conference will take place on Sunday 21 June 2009.
